About Us
Since my last letter we have come a long way. Alex has now become our APL and we would like to welcome Brandon to our patrol.

Cheetahs have advanced in developing scouting skills and the patrol is becoming stronger each term.
Activities
A recent highlight was a 5 day Springbok camp for the troop, which I held in Grabouw next to a private dam in the MTO Forest. Some of the activities included sailing, 4x4 ride, hiking, banquet with a lamb on a spit and of course lots of advancement was done. Everybody had an enjoyable camp (despite the never ending rain) and thank you to everybody who attended.

On Friday the 26th of September I am running my Springbok hike which is the last piece of advancement I need to do to complete my Springbok Badge. The hike is taking place in the Wemmershoekberge which are behind Franchhoek and it's three days of hard hiking over 45km of rugged fynbos paths.

In the last term of this year I'm going to be planning a Kloofing hike up the Witels river, just of the Bainskloof pass, for the Cheetahs patrol.

I'm hoping to get as much advancement done as possible with my patrol this following term and impart as much knowledge as a can to them.
