About Us
The Zebras patrol main goal is too get things done whilst having fun! Our patrol is a relatively ‘new’ patrol as many of guys haven’t been part of Zebras for that long.
The main driving force behind the patrol is that everyone in the patrol is so enthusiastic and willing to participate. This makes any activity ten times more enjoyable and easier to organise.
We have a great bunch of guys in Zebras at the moment and everyone can expect big things from us in the future.

Once again another successful scouting term for the 1st Durbanville Troop as well as the Zebras Patrol has drawn to a close. The schools’ opening was followed by the mapping and first aid badge courses, patrol evenings, interest badge day, area orienteering, backwoods and first class camps, day hikes and the regular Friday night activities. These were all thoroughly enjoyed and thank you to everybody who participated.
Many interest badges were completed and a stack of advancement was done this term. Well done to all of the Zebras who managed to get their physical fitness and observation badges!
Thank you to Joseph who organized an awesome and hard core backwoods camp on his farm towards the end of the term. Another camp the Zebras went on recently was Stephan’s First Class Camp. Thanks guys for all coming along and making it so memorable and thanks Stephan for everything you had to go through to make it happen, whilst testing public transport.
