Mr Nimmy Abrahams recently resigned as Chair National Scout Programme. We thank Nimmy for his years of dedication and service to the Scouting Movement on Group, Regional and National level. He will continue in other roles in SSA.

Rover Marketing Representative

Are you interested in joining the Marketing Committee? Are youRover who is passionate about communication and marketing? The Marketing Committee is further looking for a Rover to further develop the communication efforts for Rovering South Africa. 
Your role would include: working with the Marketing Committee to fulfill the SSA Marketing Plan from a Rovers perspective, to further develop the communication about Rovering to Regions, Groups and other SSA Members. You would be a great asset in the marketing of National Rover events across SSA marketing channels. International Rover Representative

Interested in joining the International Committee? Are you Rover looking to take up another challenge? The International Committee is looking for a dedicated member to develop International opportunities for Rovers abroad. These include but are not limited to Moots, Roverways and working at International Scout Centers like Kandersteg.
Functions that form part of the role include: research recommended International events for Rovers to attend; promote these events via Social Media and the SSA announcements to Regions and assist with the logistics in preparing Rovers to attend these events. View role here. Regional Position

Martin de Bruyn, Regional Commissioner for Eastern Cape South has decided not to renew his warrant, which expires in June. We would like to thank Martin for his years of dedicated service to Eastern Cape Scouting, most recently as Regional Commissioner for Eastern Cape South.
