“Discover the South!”
27 April 2023 to 1 May 2023
@ High Ridge Farm in George, Western Cape
We welcome you to the 9th National Rover Moot to be hosted in the Outeniqua region of the Western Cape. Four days of riveting adventures, laughs and unarguably a much needed national jol after a long, 6 year wait. Join us from the 27th of April 2023 to the 1st May 2023 at High Ridge Farm outside of George, a campsite nestled along the base of the overlooking Outeniqua mountains.
To make the event as inclusive as possible, the Moot has been designed in a manner that has 2 costs:
- The base cost is the same for all participants and includes the expenses incurred for the programme and other contingencies of the event. This cost is R1250.00 per person.
- The additional activity cost is determined by you! Based on the two or three additional adventure activities you want to do whilst on the Moot. These activities will be done together within your SubCrews / small groups. SubCrews will be announced before the event but the final adventure activities you will be participating in will only be announced on the day. We hope you like surprises! This cost can range anywhere from an additional R200 – R4000 depending on the activities you show interest in.
Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis with a cap of 90 participants who are under the age of 31 (30 and younger) as of the 27th of April 2023.
There are also spots available for National Support Team members (NSTs), those older than 31 who are wanting to get involved. Cost for NSTs is R1100.00.
For questions you can contact the National Moot hotline via WhatsApp on +27 81 836 1253.
