Keeping our children Safe from Harm

We continuously raise awareness about being Safe from Harm in Scouting.
As an organisation we take great care to ensure that children and young members are kept safe.
Child Protection:
  • All our Adult leaders and volunteers who come into contact with our young people are required to be registered on our Member Management System “Scouts Digital”. When registering they need to upload a Police or Criminal Clearance to be accepted.
  • We have a comprehensive Child Protection Policy  in place outlining clear boundaries, guidelines, and open avenues for all members to raise concerns or complaints.
  • We encourage members to share the Child Protection Policy reporting procedure with  members or print it, and hang it in your Scout Hall.
