Who

The SSA Centenary Rover Moot is open to all invested Rovers and Squires as participants. RSes, RTCs and other warranted Scouters are welcome to attend as staff.

When

The moot runs over the long weekend from the 22nd to the 24th of September 2018. Transport will be available to and from the airport for those who are flying in, and transport can be arranged from Lakeside Mall or Park Station Rotunda for those arriving by bus.

Where

Arrowe Park is a Scout-owned campsite on the banks of Homestead lake, 10 minutes away from OR Tambo International airport. Home to Gauteng Kontiki, Arrowe Park will be our base for the Moot, and our springing off point to explore the surrounding areas, including RAMSAR wetlands, local service projects, and a house Baden-Powell lived in.

  • Sleeping tents (can be shared with other Rovers from your crew)

  • Your full uniform
  • Suitable camp clothes, including clothes for water activities
