International Service Team

Positions

The 24th World Scout Jamboree will rely on approximately 9000 adult volunteers (International Service Team – IST)  to run the programmes and in essence“make the jamboree happen”.

Click here for details of the volunteer experience as well as the list of positions available to IST members.

IST Application Procedure: Once accepted as an IST member of the SA contingent, IST names will be submitted by the contingent management to the 24WSJ organisers.  IST members will then be able to register with the 24WSJ and nominate their 3 “preferred jobs” online. For more information about the IST procedures click here.

Training

The International Service Team (IST) members will undergo general and specific training in order to prepare them for their jobs at the jamboree.

The initial training will take place through online modules covering general topics as well as a “Safe from Harm” training for adults that will need to be completed prior to arriving at the jamboree.  More details here.
