NW Regional Commissioner Kenneth Mongake steps down

We are saddened to announce that I have received the resignation of Mr Kenneth Mongake from the role of Regional Commissioner for the Northwest Region. Mr Mongake has taken this decision after consultation with the leadership, both in the Region and nationally. He believes that Scouting would, at this time, be best served by engaging with the membership in the Region and reopening the applications for the role.  This would ensure support from the Region for the incoming leader which is as we all understand critical for the success of a volunteer organisation.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Mongake for his service in the role and for making what was undoubtedly a difficult decision that supports the long term interest of Scouting in the Region.

Dr Brendon Hausberger
Chief Commissioner
