I learnt to play with others without hurting them

This year we are celebrating 100 years of Cubbing worldwide. We spoke to Nhlamulo Phakula (10) from 1st Burgersdorp Cub Pack in Limpopo who told us why Cubbing Rocks!

NhlamuloSSA: Why is Cubbing so much fun?
Because we are learning a lot of things like how to draw a watch and also new games.

Making new friends who don’t go to the same school as me.

The weirdest thing I ate outdoors was pizza.

Laying and lighting a fire was the toughest challenge.

SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
Once we went to Letaba River Lodge. That was amazing!

SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
I learnt how to read a watch and how to play with others without hurting them.

We were cleaning the community and cleaning the Induna’s kraal.
