Stay informed through your Regional mailing list

SCOUTS South Africa offers a range of regional mailing lists to help keep our community up to date with news, opportunities, and announcements. These lists are especially useful for registered adult members – including Commissioners, Regional teams, Scouters, and Rovers, but they’re also open to Scouts, parents, and committee members.

Why join a Regional mailing list?

Each list focuses on a specific Scout Region, helping you stay connected to what’s happening in your area. Whether it’s updates about upcoming events, training opportunities, or key announcements, the mailing lists are one of the best ways to stay in the loop.

How to subscribe or unsubscribe

Joining or leaving a mailing list is simple. Just visit the page for your Scout Region’s mailing list and follow the instructions. If you’re looking to unsubscribe, scroll to the bottom of that page and click on “Unsubscribe or edit options.”

Please note:

  • Mailing lists are NOT discussion forums. These mailing lists are not discussion forums. They’re used only for official news and updates. Regional teams are encouraged to share relevant information with their members through these lists.
You can join our Scouting Support Discussion Forum on WhatsApp HERE.
  • All lists are moderated. This means messages are reviewed before being sent out, so there may be a short delay. Some frequent senders may be approved to post directly without moderation.
  • Mailing List Guidelines. To keep the lists useful and respectful, please follow these rules:
    • Only Scouting-related messages are allowed.
