Moving to another suburb or across the country doesn’t mean you cannot continue Scouting! All you need to do is contact a Scout Group near your new home and the SGL could request a transfer. This is how it works!
Youth and Rover Transfers:
Transfers can be initiated within your own Scout Group on Scouts Digital (SD). When you transfer members please note that you are transferring the family account, so all members of the family account will move with the transfer. The following approvals are required:
-
- Current SGL and Treasurer must approve the transfer.
- Receiving SGL must accept the transfer.
Adult Leader Transfers:
Complete the Role and Warrant Form and once signed by the SGL and DC, send it to the following members to action the transfer:
Within the District: The District Commissioner can move the Adult Leader.- Within the Region: The RTC: Adult Support can action the transfer.
- Cross-Regional Transfers: The Chair: National Adult Support can action the transfer.
Once the role has been updated on Scouts Digital, the warrant application may proceed for the new Scout Group.
Within the District: The District Commissioner can move the Adult Leader.
