SCOUTS South Africa is proud to officially endorse Zamangwe Mazibuko as a candidate for the position of Youth Advisor to the Africa Scout Committee.

Zamangwe, affectionately known as Zama, has demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to youth development within the Scouting Movement. She currently serves as the Regional Young Leaders’ Representative on the KwaZulu-Natal Regional Team and is an active contributor to both the SCOUTS South Africa Youth Influencers and the global World Scouting Scoutfluencers Team.

Zama joined SCOUTS SA as a Scout, advanced through the Rover Programme, and has been serving in various roles as an Adult Volunteer. Her extensive experience includes active participation in SCOUTS South Africa’s Strategic Plan development, as well as the Southern Zone, Africa Region, and World Scout Youth Forums and Conferences, where she has consistently represented the voices of young people—particularly young women—across the continent with insight, empathy, and conviction.

Zama is a passionate advocate for youth engagement and empowerment, and we are confident that her skills, experience, and commitment will make her a valuable asset to the Africa Scout Committee. We fully support her candidacy and believe she will serve the Africa Region with distinction and integrity.
