Sometimes leadership is found behind the scenes.

Earlier today, SCOUTS South Africa Board Chair, Sandile Tshabalala, rolled up his sleeves and joined the international Moot kitchen team to help prepare tonight’s chicken dinner for hundreds of participants at the 2nd Africa Scout Moot.

“It’s been so much fun being here in the kitchen and at the camp. I’ve met so many people from South Africa, Angola, Nigeria and more. It’s been great making friends and bonding while cutting chicken with people from around Africa. Doing small acts of service together is how we can take Africa forward!”

Side by side, volunteers and Rovers from across the continent are proving that every contribution, no matter how small, helps create an unforgettable Moot experience.
