After serving the Free State Scout Region as Regional Young Leaders Representative, Katleho Mokoena’s term has come to an end. We thank Katleho for the time, energy and enormous commitment he showed in representing and supporting the voices of young people across the Free State.
Now it’s time for the next young leader to step forward as the Free State Region calls for applications for a Regional Young Leaders Representative. As the Regional Young Leaders Representative, you will have the opportunity to:
🔹 Represent the voices and interests of Young Leaders in the Free State
🔹 Help strengthen youth involvement across the Region
🔹 Connect with Young Leaders, Rovers and Scout Groups
🔹 Encourage young people to participate in shaping the future of Scouting
🔹 Work alongside the Regional Team and contribute to youth-focused initiatives
🔹 Develop your own leadership, communication and organisational skills
Are you between 18 and 26 years old and a registered member of SCOUTS South Africa in the Free State, then this is an opportunity to make your voice count and help create opportunities for other young people in Scouting.
SCOUTS South Africa believes that young people should not simply be the beneficiaries of Scouting , they should have a meaningful role in shaping its future.
