Jimmy de Scande, ECS RC

Current Eastern Cape South Regional Commissioner, Martin de Bruyn, is retiring from his role after many years of service to the Region.  Therefore, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Jimmy de Scande as the new Regional Commissioner for Eastern Cape South, along with Neil O’Brien as Deputy Regional Commissioner and Jeff Ferreira as the RTC: Adult Leader Training.

All have had a long association with Scouting in the Eastern Cape over many years and will form the nucleus of the team that will be responsible to enhance effective District and Regional structures  required to support Scouting in the province.

Retiring Regional Commissioner, Martin de Bruyn, will be supporting the team until the end of the year, to ensure a smooth handover.  We would like to thank Martin for his many years of service to Scouting in the Eastern Cape and look forward to his continued contribution in a training capacity going forward.
