Thank you to all Scouts, Scouters, Alumni, volunteers, parents and friends of Scouting that participated in the Child Friendly App competition.
Over the past months we have seen a number of individual Cubs and Scouts win R2500. But now the final results are in and they were very close! The overall winning Group of the Child Friendly App Competition is 1st Germiston Scout Group (Gauteng). In close second is 1st Muizenberg Sea Scouts (Western Cape) and third is the 1st Ballito Scout Group (KZN). As the Scout Group with the most nomination, 1st Germiston takes home the R5000 prize to use towards their Scout Group activities.

The Cubs and Scouts are very excited about the win and can’t wait to plan a special Group outing to an adventure park where we can spend the day having fun together. ”
