To our Scouting families in KZN

Message from Chief Scout Khonzaphi Mdaka

Our deepest sympathies go out to our members in KZN who have been affected by the current flooding. We can only hope that you and your loved ones are safe and your homes unharmed.

To those whose homes and properties have been damaged or are lost, remember that although this natural disaster has taken away a lot from you, do not let it grab a hold of your hearts, minds, or courageous spirits. I pray that you may be granted the strength to overcome these tough times.

I would also like to urge our Scouts, Scouters and Rovers in KZN to work together and help, whilst remaining alert and safe. Let’s assist where possible or join hands with local organisations and services to provide the humanitarian aid needed.

Let’s stand together and encourage each other to stay strong.

Khonzaphi Mdaka
Chief Scout
