The 2nd Africa Scout Moot is coming to South Africa from the 1st to the 8th of August 2026, and it promises to be an unforgettable celebration of outdoor experiences, engaging workshops, meaningful service projects, and powerful cultural exchanges wrapped in Mzansi Rover spirit!
Hosted in Arrowe Park in Benoni Gauteng, this Moot will bring together over 2500 youth from across Africa and beyond! This is your chance to experience an international Scouting event without the international flight and visa costs.

The process to register as part of our SA Contingent is simple – complete the form HERE
Eligibility:
Participants:
- Be a registered SA Rover with SCOUTS South Africa.
- Be between 18 and 25 years of age.
International Service Team (IST) members:
Being a member of the IST means that you would be part of a team of adult volunteers who serve as the operational staff, making the event possible.
- Be a registered SA Rover or Adult Volunteer with SCOUTS South Africa.
- Be over 26+ years of age.
Contingent fee:
- For participating SA Rovers: R6600.
For SA IST: R5400.
This includes:
- 2ASM Registration fee.
- The SA Contingent kit, including a badge, a t-shirt, and a national SCOUTS SA scarf and woggle.
This does not include:
- Your personal transport to the venue.
- Gift items or an additional scarf for swopping.
- Personal spending money.
Payment schedule:
- A first payment of 50% is due by 31 May 2026.
